About Reel Rewards

AMStar and The Grand Theatres offer a combined rewards program called Reel Rewards. Members get rewarded just for going to the movies, and can redeem points for a variety of rewards including movie tickets and concession items. Unlike most of the large chains, this one does come with a small annual fee: just $10.

Both AMStar Reel Rewards and The Grand Theatres Reel Rewards are part of the same program, so you can earn points when seeing movies at either theatre. Rewards include concession upgrades and birthday deals. The rewards earning rate for this program are similar to AMC Stubs Premiere, which is better than most, receiving a $10 voucher for every $100 spent. Most other loyalty programs earn $5 for every $100. This generous reward rate may help offset the cost of the program.

Expiration

The membership term is one year, and as long as you have an active membership, Reward Points do not expire. Reward Dollars expire 60 days from the date of issue.
